An Evening of Community Connection and Renewal
As the seasons shift and the world feels ever-changing, Mississippi Park Connection invites you to gather by the warmth of a campfire and the steady flow of the Mississippi River. Let’s slow down together—to share laughter, listen to the night, and find simple joy in being outdoors.
This gathering offers a gentle space for renewal and togetherness. Families, friends, and neighbors of all ages are welcome to join us as we share stories, roast marshmallows, and ground ourselves in nature and community. The crackle of the fire, the glow of sunset through the trees, and the murmur of the river will rekindle the fire within each of us, reminding us that peace, wonder, and hope still glow quietly in the world.
What to Bring:
A blanket or chair for sitting comfortably
Warm layers for a fall evening
Your own mug with a warm beverage to enjoy
A spirit of openness and curiosity
You are also welcome to bring your own s’mores fixings, roasting sticks, and even a picnic dinner. This is your space for connection and renewal so we welcome you to bring what you need to support that.
Everyone is welcome to join this free, drop-in event—come anytime and stay as long as you’d like. Free parking is available at Hidden Falls Regional Park. Come as you are—tired, curious, uncertain, hopeful. Whether you are looking for calm, connection, or a spark of joy, together we’ll gather by the river and remember what restores us.
