Take a walk through time with a National Park Service ranger to hunt for fossils, learn how they came to be here, and discover how the geology of a massive waterfall shaped the Twin Cities. Participants will discover one of the many hidden waterfalls around the Mississippi River and catch some spectacular fall colors, all while exploring a lesser-known area of your local national park—what a way to spend the day!

Participants must be able to walk on uneven ground, over fallen trees, and on a steep trail with no barrier fencing. We're going on an adventure!

Location: Shadow Falls Park, 30 N Mississippi River Blvd, St Paul, MN 55104
