Please join the National Park Service, Mississippi Park Connection, Urban Roots, REI, and the MN Department of Natural Resources to celebrate National Public Lands Day - a day of stewardship for parks and natural spaces!

Our groups have been working for years in the vicinity of Pig’s Eye Regional Park to provide habitat for wildlife and improve water quality. This year, we are looking forward to reforesting the spaces that have lost trees due to the emerald ash borer. We will be planting nearly 300 trees - a diverse mix of species that will be resilient amidst our changing climate. Hope to see you there!

Thanks to REI for providing a light breakfast and free t-shirts to all volunteers!
