Ze is an Indigenous Hmong femme and lifelong Twin Cities resident. She manages Mississippi Park Connection’s annual fund program, is on the grant writing team, and is MPC’s master of data.
Nature has always been a big part of their life. Ascending from a long line of Southeast Asian healers and farmers, Ze is privileged to inherit knowledge of the natural world through her mother's teachings and stories shared by community elders. Ze is a leader in Mississippi Park Connection’s fundraising and communications team and supports the BIPOC in the Outdoors program. She studied Communications and Studies in Cinema and Media Culture at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities.
Interests
Outside of work, Ze enjoys being outdoors with her dogs, August and Sebastian. She also loves travel, hiking, storytelling, film and media.
