Emma coordinates group volunteers along the Mississippi River and the Mill Ruins, Crosby, Coldwater, and Menomin Volunteer Crews.
Emma graduated from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology and Forest and Natural Resource Management. Previously, she was a member of Conservation Corps MN & IA's Increasing Diversity in Environmental Careers (IDEC) program, and interned with the Minnesota DNR for their Nongame Wildlife Program. She is passionate about the volunteer program because it allows folks to connect to the river and the community while performing meaningful work. She is particularly motivated in increasing diversity in the outdoors, and preserving the urban canopy for all.
