Next year, Dakota County Parks will reintroduce bison to Spring Lake Park Reserve–returning them to their natural habitat along the Mississippi River. Our friends at Dangerous Man Brewing Co. brewed a special sumac beer to celebrate our ongoing prairie restoration efforts at Spring Lake Park Reserve, where the bison will live.

Volunteer at Spring Lake Park Reserve on the morning of November 6 to help us plant hundreds of prairie plants for the new bison enclosures. Then, drop in anytime from 2 PM - 6 PM at Dangerous Man Brewing Co. to try the Sumac Pseudo Lager, brewed with fresh sumac, hive honey, and Spanish cedar spirals! Participate in a raffle to support the park and win great prizes, including Patagonia gear. You can even play Park Trivia with us for a chance to score a free raffle ticket!

For every Sumac Pseudo Lager sold between November 6-18, Dangerous Man will donate $1 to Mississippi Park Connection to support ongoing prairie habitat restoration for the bison! See you there!
