Walk the Winchell Trail to hunt for fossils, learn how they got there and how the geology of a waterfall shaped the Twin Cities.

Walk a portion of the Winchell Trail in Minneapolis with a National Park Service ranger to hunt for fossils, learn how they got here, and discover how the geology of a waterfall shaped the Twin Cities.

Participants must be able to walk on uneven ground and on a steep trail with no barrier fencing. Limit 10 people. Registration required.

Where to meet: The intersection of East 25th St & West River Parkway, near the walking path. (Please do not block the bike path.)
