Help us identify birds using eBird, a free app that will help us collect a one-day snapshot of birding populations on a global scale.
This is an international event encouraging people around the world to identify and report to eBird as many birds as they can find. This is a chance to give a one day snapshot of birding populations on a global scale.
On Friday, October 16, tune into Facebook Live to learn how to use eBird and learn about parts of the river corridor that could use your birding help from bird aficionado, Ranger Sharon.
On Saturday, October 17, National Park Service rangers will be on hand at Coldwater Spring to help you ID birds and share where to find birds on your own while walking the trails in the park. It’s a great chance to view native sparrows, thrushes, and even a few bluebirds. There will be no guided hikes, but rangers will be on hand to answer your identification questions.
