We hope you can join us for an evening of celebration and connection at our 2025 Volunteer Recognition Event. Enjoy tasty food and great company as we celebrate the volunteer program’s accomplishments, share highlights from the past year, and enjoy the company of one another.

Whether you help out with field trips or habitat restorations, wildlife monitoring or visitor centers, volunteers are an essential part of the Mississippi National River and Recreation area. The hours you all put in continue to be a critical part of our programming.

This evening is our way to show gratitude for your hard work and dedication to your national park. Staff from the National Park Service and Mississippi Park Connection will be there sharing stories, conversations, and laughter. River-related activities including trivia, card crafting, door prizes, and a discovery table will make for a night of fun, and help us connect to each other as we all care for our national park.
