Mississippi River Crew Member (Conservation Corp of MN & IA)

Become an AmeriCorps Youth Outdoors Leader and help manage our Mississippi River Crew, which supports our Plant for the Future projects. Leaders are 18 to 25 years old and have an interest in community service and natural resource management. This is possible through a partnership with the Conservation Corps of Minnesota and Iowa.

The Mississippi River Crew performs a wide variety of tasks, including invasive species management, using power saws and hand tools, prairie management, tree surveys, and assisting with the maintenance of our expansive climate change research plots at Crosby Farm Regional Park.

Deadline: Applications are typically open from November through January, but CCMI often fills crews in between seasons as well. Check their careers page frequently to stay updated.
