Join us in the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area, a national park, for this special winter River Action Volunteer Event (RAVE). Bring your snowshoes or borrow the park’s for a restoration project at the Katharine Ordway Field Station, followed by a guided hike to the river.
This event is free, but sign-up is required since we have limited spots.
River Action Volunteer Events (RAVEs)
RAVEs are a fun way to explore the river in a way few others do. All trips couple a restoration service project in a hard to reach area of the river with an adventure tour by National Park Service rangers.
If you have questions about this volunteer event, please contact Mary Hammes, Environmental Stewardship and Volunteer Manager, at volunteer@parkconnection.org and/or (651) 291-9119.
