What a way to start your morning then an early morning paddle out on Pickerel Lake? Tap in to nature and yourself on a self guided meditative float. Bring your coffee!

Route Description:
Pickerel Lake is located in Lilydale Regional Park, a park along the Mississippi River near downtown Saint Paul. The lake is surrounded by floodplain forest and scenic bluffs. There is an abundance of fish in the lake and in mid-summer lily pads dot the surface. Look for the eagle’s nest near the powerlines, and the river otters that hang out along the forest shoreline across the lake.
