Learn about ways to recreate in the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area and hear incredible on-water stories from author Frank Bures while enjoying the views at City House in Saint Paul.
Frank's stories have also been included in the Best American Travel Writing twice and selected as “Notable” stories for the Best American Sports Writing, Essays and Travel Writing seventeen times. His recent book, "Pushing the River: An Epic Battle, a Lost History, a Near Death, and Other True Canoeing Stories," is a collection of tales of ambition, terror, rivalry, adventure, endurance, friendship, and love on the waters of the Mississippi River and beyond.

Parking and Accessibility:
There are designated parking spots available in a portion of the Mississippi Flats Parking Garage off Walnut Street, just up the steps from City House. The garage door is marked CITY HOUSE PARKING. Approach the door slowly, and it will open. Park in one of the City House assigned spots and come on down! The bartenders will give you a code at the bar to get back into the garage.
There is also street parking with a 2-hour limit (unlimited nights & weekends) all around City House. There is a flat, paved path which includes accessible parking from the parking lot at: 226 Spring St, St Paul, MN 55102 .1 miles from City House.
