Join National Park Service Staff and expert anglers from park partners, Baztec for an evening of fishing. The free family fishing event is an excellent opportunity for individuals of all ages to learn how to catch fish in the Mississippi River.
Learn basics and fundamentals about fishing techniques, equipment, and local fish species in a friendly and relaxed environment. Participants will receive hands-on instructions from experts such as rod and reel anatomy, rod assembly, fish anatomy, proper casting, knot tying, earn your Junior Ranger Angler badge, and more!
The event is open to everyone, including families, individuals, and groups, and offers a chance to connect with nature and enjoy a fun day on the river. Don't miss this opportunity to learn how to catch fish in one of the most iconic rivers in the world!
