This weekend-long event is presented by Two Paddles Canoe & Kayak Races and includes an event for every skill level: five canoe and kayak races and a recreational tour.

  • The “Mississippi River 140 Canoe and Kayak Race” aka the “MR 140” is a 140 mile race that includes night paddling, portaging and an optional rapids run.

  • The MR 48, MR 25, and MR 10 are exciting races taking place on June 11. The MR 48 features a relay option, and the MR 10 includes a non-competitive option.

  • The Minnesota High School Canoe & Kayak Championship Race (presented in partnership with the Minnesota Canoe Association) is a 3-mile race opportunity for anybody in grades 9-12, no racing experience necessary.

  • The 7.5 mile recreational tour (rentals available and shuttle included) is presented in partnership with the Paddle Bridge Guide Collective.

Everyone is invited to a Post Paddle Party at 1:30PM on June 11 at Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park (east side of the river), where live music courtesy, free food, and merchandise will be available! Mississippi Park Connection and the National Park Service will host a tent there. Come say hi!
