The Upper St. Anthony Falls Lock and Dam will open to the public for the 2023 summer season on Memorial Day Weekend.

The lock wall will be open to the public from

• Monday - Thursday: 11 - 4 PM (Ranger led tours at 2 PM)

• Saturday - Sunday (and Monday Holidays) 10 AM - 4 PM (Ranger led tours at 11 AM and 2 PM)

Free ranger led tours of the lock and dam are offered daily at 2:00 PM and 11 AM on weekends. Learn about the the lock and dam, St. Anthony Falls, and milling. Tours are on a first-come, first-served basis.

NPS passport stamps are available at this location. There are numerous possibilities for walks and exploring the area's rich history, besides our guided tours. Talk to a ranger about possibilities!
