Instructors from the National Park Service and Paddle Bridge Guide Collective will lead participants on a guided paddle of Pickerel Lake. Participants can expect to alternate between paddling and activities and games on shore. Tandem and solo kayaks with a variety of adaptive equipment will be available, including supported hand adaptations or specialized outriggers for balance. A kayak, paddle, and life jacket will be provided. Participants should bring water, a hat, weather appropriate clothes, shoes that can get wet, and sunscreen. Pickerel Lake is a small lake with abundant wildlife.
Participants will meet at the parking lot (44.91995454533804, -93.12123988962405) at the juncture of West Water Street and Lilydale Road, just east of the pavilion. A handicap port-a-potty is on-site. Please do not leave valuables in your car.
