City Nature Challenge

  • Crosby Farm Regional Park 2595 Crosby Farm Road Saint Paul, MN, 55116 United States (map)

The City Nature Challenge is a community effort to photograph species in cities around the world using the iNaturalist app. How many different species can we find at Crosby Farm Regional Park? National Park Service rangers, Master Naturalist volunteers, and the City of Saint Paul staff will be present to lead short hikes, help new iNaturalist app users, and help identify species.

Download the iNaturalist app onto your smartphone prior to the event since internet is not available at the park. We will use the app to identify and catalog a list of species found in the park.

If you don't have a smartphone or don't know how to use iNaturalist, just come and hike with us to learn about the diversity of life that abounds in the floodplain forest.

This is a drop-in event. Registration is not required.
