Come learn the skills needed to identify trees during the winter months! We will go beyond leaves and learn how to use more consistent features (such as buds and leaf scars) that will continue to be helpful year-round for your identification needs. A hike through Crosby Farm Regional Park will provide us with plenty of trees to practice on.
Make sure to bundle up and be ready for winter weather. Good boots are a must!
