Join us in the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area, a national park, for a survival RAVE! You will be helping restore the floodplain and prairie ecosystems. This RAVE will challenge your outdoor skills like fire building and shelter making (though no experience or previous knowledge is required). You’ll learn what it takes to make it outdoors in a Minnesota winter! RAVEs are great for adults and kids over 12 years old. This is a free event for volunteers—your only ticket is your service to the river!
Space is limited and registration is required.
River Action Volunteer Events (RAVEs)
RAVEs are a fun way to explore the river in a way few others do. All trips couple a restoration service project in a hard to reach area of the river with an adventure tour by National Park Service rangers.
