Help with seed collection while enjoying the prairie grasses and wildflowers of this dry sand prairie with wonderful views of the Mississippi River! Come lend a hand to help improve the habitat of this unique place.
This event is led by Mississippi Park Connection and the National Park Service who will provide materials and instructions. Please wear long pants and close-toed shoes for this outdoor project. Bring water too. See the Grey Cloud Dunes webpage for a map and description of the site.
Do not follow Google Maps directions!! Parking directions: in Cottage Grove, from US Hwy 61 0.75 mile S on Jamaica Ave, then 0.4 mile W on 100th St, then 1 mile S on Ideal Ave, then 0.5 mile W on 110th St. Park in lot at dead end.
