Paddle the Vermillion River with park ranger Sharon Stiteler. This guided canoe paddle on the Vermillion will take you through a unique portion of this national park that’s reminiscent of a Louisiana bayou. This area is great for wildlife observation — come see bald eagles, great blue herons, we might even be able to sneak up on a muskrat! Canoes, paddles and life-jackets will be provided by the National Park Service.

Please note: while there is no age limit for this public event, all attendees must be 30 lbs or over to fit the provided life-jackets.

This event is $25 per person, or $20 for members of Mississippi Park Connection. Space is limited to 19 people so please register to RSVP.

Please contact the Mississippi River Visitor Center with any questions or concerns on the day of the event: 651-293-0200
