Conservation Corps is hiring!

Looking for an opportunity to spend your summer outside?How about being paid to learn how to apply natural resource management?

Conservation Corps is looking for individuals (ages 18-25) to work in a team setting on forest restoration and resilience along the 72-mile stretch of the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area. There are numerous benefits to working for Conservation Corps Minnesota and Iowa including:

- Monthly stipend - AmeriCorps education award upon successful completion of term that can be used for school expenses or to repay federally-backed student loans Skills training and job experience - Networking opportunities - Health insurance - Student loan forbearance during service term

The urban canopy along the Mississippi River is facing hardships such as invasive pests, challenges with regeneration of important floodplain tree species, and a changing climate. Over the next three years, Mississippi Park Connection in partnership with the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area will be committed to building a resilient urban forest that will survive for many generations to come, but we need your help.
