Mississippi River Winter B-I-N-G-O

A wintery graphic that says "MISS Winter Bingo! Get outside and embrace winter in the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area!" The graphic includes a pair of winter mittens and some colorful snowflake designs.

The national park's Community Volunteer Ambassador, Erika Van Krevelen, developed a winter bingo sheet to help you and yours get outside with purpose! Download and print the PDF of bingo pages to discover new parks, search for creatures and their signs, and experience the winter months differently than you may have before. Try challenging your friends to a winter bingo competition, or enjoy a solo journey at your own pace.

How To Participate:

Visit any parks along the 72-mile stretch of the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area (MISS) to complete the activities listed on your bingo card. Track where you complete each activity on page 11 of the PDF. Cross off five activities in a row in any direction and win bingo! What's your prize, you ask? A newfound appreciation of Minnesota winters, of course! You can also extend the game and expand your experience by filling out the whole card.

Want to become a Junior Ranger? Bring your completed bingo card to the the Mississippi River Visitor Center (located inside the Science Museum of Minnesota) to receive your official Junior Ranger badge.

So what are you waiting for? It's time to bundle up and head outside!
