Nightlife in the Twin Cities doesn’t get any more wild than in your national park on the Mississippi River. Some of the freakiest creatures come out to play after the sun sets at Coldwater Spring. Join Park Ranger Sharon Stiteler and entomologist Jessica Miller in watching this buzzing scene come alive at Nighttime Nature Fun.

This summer series is the perfect opportunity to explore your park after dark and discover what goes bump (or flutters) in the night in your park. If you’re in the right place at the right time, you might also hear other active critters like deer, owls, raccoons or even coyotes.

Park Ranger Sharon Stiteler (aka Bird Chick) and insect extraordinaire Jessica Miller will be on deck with a big sheet and black lights to attract a variety of critters. Become a citizen scientist for the evening and help them record who shows up to the city’s wildest nightlife event of the summer.

This party is all ages, perfect for family fun, date night, outdoor enthusiasts, bug hunters, and anyone looking for a unique way to get outside and enjoy your Minnesota summer.
