Each year the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area hosts the Big River Awards, a free event which celebrates the Big River Teacher Award winner as well as the winning students who participate in the Big River Art Contest.

Explore Crosby Farm Regional Park’s nocturnal side. Enjoy guided night hikes and discover bats, owls, fireflies and other wildlife that come alive at night. Special lighting will be used to attract an array of moths and other insects.

The Upper St. Anthony Falls Lock and Dam will open to the public for the 2022 summer season from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Tuesday - Sunday from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
