Pollinator Patches

Prairies big and small share a common need. They all depend on pollinators, including bees and butterflies, to thrive. That’s why Mississippi Park Connection plants Pollinator Patches to attract more bees and butterflies to prairies, which are among our rarest landscapes. Now you can help restore prairies throughout our park, including at Coldwater Spring.

For every $100 donated, Mississippi Park Connection will plant a 500 square foot patch of prairie within our national park. Native wildflower seeds and plants such as dotted blazing star, wild lupine, and butterfly weed (milkweed) provide an important source of food for the most important insects – pollinators!

Your Pollinator Patch gift also makes you a member of Mississippi Park Connection! Invest in your national park by donating a Pollinator Patch today.
