River Action Volunteer Events (RAVEs) RAVEs are a fun way to explore the river in a way few others do.  All trips couple a restoration service project in a hard to reach area of the river with an adventure tour by National Park Service rangers. For this RAVE, we will offer tours of canoe-access campsites on islands adjacent to Mississippi West Regional Park. Participants will also help remove invasive plant species that threaten the native plant ecosystems. Removing these plants prevents their spread…
