Daylight is in short supply in winter, however wildlife uses the darkness to their advantage. Join rangers from the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge and the National Park Service for a special night hike where we will listen for signs of life like coyotes, owls or rabbits. If there’s snow, we’ll use the refuge’s snowshoes to hit the trails and look for tracks. If skies are clear, we’ll aim a scope at Jupiter and look at the moons.
You never know what you will find at night, but it will be exciting! Space is limited for this free event and registration is required.
